New Year's Resolutions

Every year people make resolutions and then at the end of the year are disappointed in not achieving them. A lot of times people make too many or too outrageous or difficult of goals to accomplish in one year. Here are a few steps that will help increase your probability of success.

Step 1. Make reasonable/attainable goals.
Step 2. Write them down
Step 3. Have a plan and mini check points/goal to achieve throughout the year.
Step 4. Post your goals someplace you will see often (on a mirror, door, etc.)

Here is an example:
Step 1 & 2. Read my scriptures.
Step 3. I am going to go to http://www.ldsscripturetools.com/
~make and print off a chart
~set a time of day that works best for you to plan to read
~make sure you have your scriptures or access to http://scriptures.lds.org/ to read or listen to your scriptures.
Step 4. Place your chart in a visible place and mark off each day you read.
