2010 General Young Women Meeting
The Young Women General Presidency invites all young women, ages 12–18, their mothers, and Young Women leaders to attend the General Young Women Meeting that will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. MDT. The theme for this year’s meeting is “Be strong and of a good courage” (see Joshua 1:9). President Monson has taught, “You are some of our Heavenly Father’s strongest children, and … with His help, you will have the courage to face whatever comes.”
At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to hear a message from a member of the First Presidency and from each member of the Young Women general presidency: Sister Elaine S. Dalton, president; Sister Mary N. Cook, first counselor; and Sister Ann M. Dibb, second counselor.
We invite all young women to prepare spiritually to hear the inspired messages from our leaders by reading about the prophet Joshua (Joshua 1) and learn of his strength and courage.
This meeting will originate from the Conference Center Auditorium in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will be broadcast by satellite to meetinghouses worldwide and on the Internet at broadcast.lds.org.
